My mom has been in town spoiling us rotten. Now that our house is back in order, I asked her to come down to spend some quality time with us in our new home. Without hesitation she booked a flight for a 3 week stay. Kelly and I are so luck to have her visit. We've enjoyed her delicious Filipino cooking. I've watch her in the kitchen a million times but I will never be able to cook a meal like she does. While Kelly and I are at work, my mom seems to keep herself busy. She's washed the windows, rearranges our cabinets, stocks our freezer with meals, pulls weeds and does so much more. I remind her everyday to just relax and enjoy her time here. If you know my mom at all, that is the last thing on her mind.
She's a busy bee, always doing something to help someone out. Our puppy is thrilled her Lola is here. Kelly and I haven't seen our dog in weeks. She's become my mom's shadow, following her around wherever she goes. Lola spoils her grand-puppy with long walks, homemade sweet potato dinners and a little dental hygiene.
We are so glad my mom is here to visit...but we wish Ronnie was here too!
