Thanksgiving in Athens

Our little family traveled up to Athens on Wednesday afternoon to start our Nyquist Thanksgiving.
On Thursday morning, Ben, Dave, Kate, Kel and I geared up for a 5 mile run in the freezing cold. What a great way to start our holiday.
I followed these turkeys the last mile and could only think how much grub I was going to eat that afternoon.
Back at the house, everyone dressed up in their Bears attire and started cooking the feast.
Becca roasted her turkey
Ben fried his turkey
Everyone pitched in to make our beautiful Thanksgiving dinner.
Becca came to the rescue and popped Kel's blood blister from the morning run
So thankful for everyone that Kelly and I have in our lives.
Becca was on call for the weekend, so I helped watch Kate while the big boys went golfing.
Eat. Play. Nap, Poop. Eat. Play. Nap. Kate seemed to have fun- Aunt Jen was exhausted.
We continued the weekend with a good ole' tailgate.
It was the first game I attended all season and the last. Exciting but unfortunate- GT won.

Thankful and blessed for a wonderful holiday with our family.
