This year we traveled to Pennsylvania to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Manuel Family.
The weather was surprisingly warm and there was not a cloud in the sky.
Little Kane stayed at home with Lolo and Lola while the big kids walked over with us to the neighborhood park to blow of some energy.
Keanu enjoyed his cup of tea before joining in the shenanigans.
While his sisters, Kalia and Kalea got right to the fun!
These kids are growing up way too fast.
A little playground selfie.
A surprise gender reveal for the cousins.
Playing on the human jungle gym. Poor Uncle Kelly.
Kalia was so a good little helper in the kitchen.
Lola sure appreciated one more cook in the kitchen.
Kane and I supervised and were the taste testers.
Can you believe Kane will be 2 in a few days!
What a feast! Let's eat!
Uncle Kelly can't catch a break. I am very thankful for this big turkey.
Lately I have been thinking about traditions and what our growing family can look forward too. I decided I wanted to start a new tradition of our own. I was searching through Pinterest and found The Family Tablecloth. There are not many things much more fun than gathering around the table to enjoy a meal with family or friends. I hope this becomes a treasure heirloom full of embroidered messages from years of dinner guests.
My intention is before the next holiday or celebration arrives, I needlepoint each mini artwork, readying the tablecloth for more. Yikes! That means I actually need to learn how to needlepoint.
I hope I can continue the tradition until there are no more white spaces left.
