15 weeks

We are so blessed to be pregnant and expecting a child.
I am officially past my 1st trimester, yippee! It has been a long 3 months of praying and loving on this little baby. Last Saturday I started a new routing of going to the chiropractor first thing the morning and heading over to a prenatal yoga class around noon.
I owe it to myself and this baby to take care of us. I'll be honest, I haven't been eating very well these past few weeks, I am having an aversion to salads and vegetables. So I have been adding in a few green smoothies to my intake....and a few yummy pop tarts.
The doctor and many friends have recommended that I get at least 30 minutes of cardio a day.
It is tough to get to the gym after a full day of work. These days I would rather lay down and put my feet up.
The baby got a present in the mail! Thank you Mama Livia for the sweet note and baby gear!
Seeing bibs, bath towels and burb clothes are making this pregnancy feel like a reality.
I am looking forward to my 2nd trimester and continuing to be well.

14 weeks in Savannah

I headed off to Savannah for a few days for an affordable housing work conference.
The conference started off with a 3-hour cooking class
Delicious!
What a treat for the baby!
My pregnancy is just beginning to show.
I am still wearing my regular clothes and have begun using a bellyband for my pants.
Really I look like I just ate too much apple pie, but I know the truth.
Our conference was held at the beautiful Westin hotel on the other side of the river.
I wasn't so thrilled with taking a little ferry every morning but we got through it.
Until next time Savannah!
