7 weeks

By the looks of the ultrasound not much has changed in a week- but oh it has.

At 7 weeks you are measuring at 1.08cm with a heartbeat of 160BPM.

I have dreamt about becoming a mother for years. These past few weeks I have been extremely careful about what I eat, how often I move and just making sure not disturb this little nugget growing inside of me. Everyday is a blessing and we are so excited to watch you grow.

Grow! Grow! Grow!

6 weeks

Kelly and I found out the day before we left for our beach trip to Jekyll Island that we were going to be parents! The past year and a half has been a test of our patience, strength and faith.

With a little help from science and a lot of support we are thrilled to announce Baby Nyquist is expected to arrive in April 2016! 

At 6 weeks of development our little one is measuring 0.34 cm with a heartbeat of 109BPM.
We have a long way to go but we are so happy that you are here with us.

BEACHSCAPE SUMMER 2015

Our four legged has never been to the beach so a trip was long overdue.

Callie is always ready for a roadtrip.

 Jekyll Island is a beautiful place.

We spent mornings searching for sand dollars

 Took long walks

Threw the ball

Callie absolutely loved running on the cool sand and surprisingly into the waves.

My lovies let me capture our time together.

We wandered down the palm-lined street

Hit the beach in the afternoon. 

Overall the trip was a success. Was it tough taking our dog on vacation? Yes. 

Was it difficult to find pet-friendly restaurants? Yes.

Would we do it again? In a heartbeat.

Glad we could be her chauffeur. 

She's a good co-pilot.

Someone was worn out from all the fun, we found her snuggled under her princess bed.
