Go Cubs Go

Kelly and I were invited by his work colleagues to attend the Braves/Cubs game.

We haven't been to a baseball game in awhile so this was a nice treat.

Lucky for the hubby the seats were only a few rows from home plate.

Thank goodness there was a net protecting us from the fly balls.

Friday night games in the Summer are sure to be hot but very entertaining.

Baseball season is underway,

The Cubs are gonna win today....

The Cubs didn't end up winning but it was an exciting game.

Friday night fireworks to end a great night at Turner field.

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July in Brookhaven with the Patels and Donges. 

Delicious grilled babyback ribs, dip, cake, smores ..what more could you want?

We took the party outside for some football, glow sticks and fireworks.

Fireworks sales were legal in Georgia this year. We bought all sorts of bottle rockets, launchers, sparklers and poppers. Apparently Kel grew up lighting fireworks and all sorts of contraptions.

I wasn't so thrilled but he put on the fireworks display for us this year.

The kiddos had a great time pretending to be characters from Harry Potter

(with adult supervision).
