Leadership CREW 2014

Over the past 11 months, I have been involved in Leadership CREW 2014. I wasn't sure what to expect. Most leadership courses tend to be less personal and extremely formal. This experience was personal, fun, formal, it was everything I needed and didn't even know it.

CREW created a learning environment by developing selected members into more confident, empowered, inspired, and strategic individuals. This leadership experience has helped improve areas like: team building, strategic planning, time management, decision making, and more. Each leadership workshop taught valuable skills that work in our daily lives. Through personal reflection and intense workshops we have navigated through our goals and aspirations and put a strategic plan in place.

Here are a few pictures I snapped throughout our journey.

I have 30 new friends who are each completely different but together are the most amazing women I have ever met. They are CEOs, lawyers, engineers, brokers, marketing gurus...phenomenal women.
Here are some photos from our graduation.

I can honestly say that I feel like a completely different person than who I was back in January.
I have more self confidence, I know who I am, and who I want to be. Most importantly I know what I need and who I need to help me reach my goals.

Veteran's Day

Today we pay tribute to all American veterans- living or dead- who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
Thank you.

Dearest Reg,

Your courage, dedication and pride inspire me every day. I am proud and honored to call you my brother. Thank you for serving out country and protecting our freedom.

With love,
Jennifer

A celebration for a special person

If you are lucky enough to know her, she will brighten your day and make you feel like a million bucks. Some may call her Winky, but in this family she's known as Tee Tah.

She is the glue that holds this family together. The person that reminds us how blessed we are to have one another. The one who supports us and keeps us grounded.  The woman with a big heart that gives all she can to her friends and family.

We love you! Happy Birthday!

A little bit of this a little bit of that

A few weekends ago we took a much needed trip to spend some QT with our favorite little Athens family.

We took a morning stroll only to fill ourselves with breakfast biscuits, donuts and coffee.

Back at the house the boys tried to play a little soccer, only to be dominated by Wrigs and Callie.

How cute is Kate? I'm mean seriously! Uncle Toe keep pushing her!

What a great way to recharge for the work week. I visited Jacksonville, FL for some site inspections. It was the calm before the storm. The UGA/FL game was just a week later. Glad I wasn't in town for that craziness.

For the first time in a year, my women's tennis team won our division!! What does that mean? I finally get a bag tag. It may not seem like much but I can finally say we've won our division. This was a tough season for me considering I lost 4 matches in a row. I turned it around and won the last 2 matches.

It's been a great year getting to know these gals. I'll miss them! It'll be tough finding a new team in our neighborhood.
